The explosion of the Kakhovka HPP is a blow to the world’s food security
The explosion of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant by Russians is a blow to global food security, which the enemy wants to undermine. This opinion was expressed by the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak on Telegram.
“This catastrophe will affect the irrigation system in southern Ukraine. Russians need hunger in countries around the world, particularly in Africa,” he explained.
Yermak also called the dam breach an ecocide.
“The Russians will be responsible for the possible deprivation of drinking water for people in the south of Kherson and in Crimea, the possible destruction of some settlements and the biosphere. Their actions also pose a threat to the ZNPP,” he emphasized.
