UkrAgroConsult
The area under barley in 2022 amounted to 1.88 million hectares, which is 18% less than the area under crops in the previous season. This was reported by the Telegram Channel of the Ukrainian Grain Association (UGA).
The expected harvest is 6.6 million tons, which is much less than last year’s 10.1 million due to the smaller area of crops and yields, the Russian occupation of territories and the destruction of crops due to hostilities.
