Syria holds tender for wheat purchase

On March 10, the Syrian state company Syrian Grain held a tender for the purchase of 100,000 tons of milling wheat of any origin. This was reported by the Zerno On-Line agency with reference to European traders.
About 100,000 tons of Black Sea wheat were purchased at $260 per ton on a C&F basis.
The shipment will take place within 30 days after signing the contract. Payment terms: 80% upon arrival of the wheat at the port of destination, the remaining 20% within 15 days from the date of unloading.
