Sunflower export from Ukraine will amount to 2.65 million tons – USDA
According to analysts USDA in 2022/23 MY, Ukraine will export 3.95 million tons of sunflower oil, 3.3 million tons of sunflower meal and 2.65 million tons of sunflower seeds.
This is stated in the report of the USDA for March.
Sunflower production in Ukraine in 2022/23 MY will amount to 10.4 million tons, sunflower meal – 4.213 million tons, oil – 4.386 million tons.
“Global oilseed production fell by 7 million tonnes to 630 million tonnes mainly due to significant reductions in Argentina’s soybean and sunflower crops, as well as India’s cotton. These changes are only partly compensated by an increase in canola cultivation in Australia and Ukraine”, – reads the report.
