Start to the new export season for Ukrainian corn

September corn exports from Ukraine totaled 165 KMT (-45% from August and almost six times as much as in September 2020/21), UkrAgroConsult reports.
China has not purchased corn from Ukraine over the last two months.
In September, Ukrainian corn was exported to just ten countries, including seven EU members.
EU countries bought a combined over 148 KMT (roughly 90% of the total monthly volume exported from Ukraine), i.e. their purchases increased almost sixfold from a year earlier.
Apart from the EU, such importers as Libya, Israel and Egypt also increased purchases from last season (last season, these countries had not yet begun buying Ukrainian corn as of September).
