Spain to provide EUR 4.4 million for Grain from Ukraine initiative

Spain will allocate 4.4 million euros for the Grain from Ukraine initiative together with the World Food Program.
This was announced by Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez at a joint press conference with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
“I supported President Zelensky’s Grain from Ukraine initiative to help those in need. We welcome our contribution of 4.4 million euros, which Spain will provide together with the World Food Program,” Sanchez said.
He noted that with its upcoming presidency of the European Union in the second half of this year, Spain stands ready to support and accompany Ukraine in its legitimate aspirations to EU membership.
