Soybean exports from Ukraine in September more than three times lower than last year’s level

Ukraine has seen a significant decline in soybean exports, with prices at factories lower than export prices. Spike Brokers reports this.
According to brokers, soybean exports in September were more than three times lower than last year’s level. Processing plants are keeping purchase prices 5-7% lower than export prices, taking into account logistics.
The spot price index for GM-soybeans with export delivery within 30 days decreased by $2 excluding VAT compared to Friday, September 20, to $399/t. This is the price for the basic export quality of GM-soybeans on the terms of the Odesa CPT.
The spot price index for soybeans with delivery within 30 days decreased by $4 including VAT to $436. This is the price for the basic quality of GMs, taking into account transportation from the factory to the Odesa CPT.
As of September 26, Ukraine had harvested 1.5 million tons (35%) of soybeans with a yield of 2.02 tons/hectare.
