Sowing in Ukraine is not threatened, there is plenty of fuel, – Sobolev
Farmers have fuel reserves for up to 6 weeks, and this should be enough for the 2026 sowing campaign.
This was announced by Economy Minister Oleksiy Sobolev during the government question hour in the Rada.
“We know that farmers are provided with both diesel and fuel for sowing. We have communicated with the market – there are stocks for 3 to 6 weeks, this is enough,” Sobolev said.
He noted that about UAH 3 billion is planned to be allocated for the cashback introduced by the government for purchasing fuel at gas stations, which will be redistributed from the funds of the Ministry of Economy programs.
“We currently estimate the total amount at approximately UAH 3 billion. They are redistributed from the funds of the Ministry of Economy programs within the ministry’s budget,” the minister explained.
