South Korea purchased 65 thsd tons of corn
South Korean animal feed producer Nonghyup Feed Inc (NOFI) purchased 65,000 tonnes of U.S.-origin feed corn at an international tender held on August 6, Reuters reported.
The winner of the tender was Columbia Grain International.
The corn was purchased in one batch at a price of $262.94 per tonne. In case of delivery to two ports, $1.50 per tonne will be added to the price for additional unloading at the port. The purchased grain will arrive in South Korea by November 15, 2025.
