Saudi Arabia purchased 300 thsd tons of wheat
The General Food Security Authority of Saudi Arabia (GFSA) held a tender for the purchase of 300,000 tons of hard-grain milling wheat of any origin with a protein content of 12.5%. This was reported by Reuters.
A total of 300,000 tons of wheat were purchased from the following companies:
- Solaris – 60,000 tons at $259.74 C&F Jeddah (shipment March 1-15)
- Cargill – 60,000 tons at $258.21 C&F Jeddah (shipment March 1-15)
- Cargill – 60,000 tons at $257.96 C&F Yanbu (shipment March 1-15)
- Cargill – 60,000 tons at $258.88 C&F Yanbu (shipment April 1-15)
- Cofco – 60,000 tons at $257.96 C&F Yanbu (shipment March 1-15)
The tender application period ended on November 21.
