Russia reorients exports of stolen Ukrainian grain from Syria to Egypt
Russians are trying to reorient the export of stolen Ukrainian grain from Syria to Egypt.
This was reported by Kateryna Yaresko, a blogger and journalist at the Peacemaker Center information portal.
“Syria is now closed for the sale of stolen Ukrainian grain, so the occupiers are trying to master the Egyptian grain market,” the expert said.
Near Alexandria there are 2 ships with stolen wheat that were loaded in occupied Sevastopol. “They can be seen on satellite images near the Avlita grain terminal,” Jaresko added.
In addition, yesterday another vessel ZAID left the occupied Sevastopol, which is going to another Egyptian port – Damietta – with 33249.86 tons of wheat.
Further development of the grain and oilseed markets of Ukraine and the Black Sea region will be in the spotlight of the BLACK SEA GRAIN. KYIV conference, taking place on April 22–23 in Kyiv. The event will focus on strategic directions for the agricultural sector through 2030, including investments, energy independence, processing, and exports of high-value products.
