Russia recognizes the problem of fuel price hikes in agricultural regions

The Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation has recognized the problem of fuel price hikes in regions where agricultural work is going on, Anton Rubtsov, director of the department of oil and gas complex of the agency, said at a round table in the Federation Council devoted to the activities of the agro-industrial complex.
Commenting on the information that prices in regions where agricultural work is going on are higher than the national average, he said: “I will not argue, has a place.”
“We are looking at it. We will pay additional attention (…), and in the future, when reporting, we will emphasize where we (prices) are out of the general trend,” the representative of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation added.
He stressed that the agricultural industry needs 5 million tons of diesel fuel per year, up to 10% of consumption in Russia, and about 700 thousand tons of gasoline.
One of the goals of the drone strikes on Russian oil refining and storage of oil products is to force russia to choose where to supply fuel – for war or for harvesting agricultural crops.
