Russia has almost stopped exporting grain to the EU
Russia practically stopped grain exports to Belarus amid the introduction of increased duties by the EU, having shipped only 21 thousand euros worth of grain in September.
Recall that on July 1, the EU imposed increased duties on imports of grain, oilseeds and processed products from Russia and Belarus. Depending on the specific product, the duties increased either up to €95 per ton of imported products to the EU, or up to 50%.
Further development of the grain and oilseed markets of Ukraine and the Black Sea region will be in the spotlight of the BLACK SEA GRAIN. KYIV conference, taking place on April 22–23 in Kyiv. The event will focus on strategic directions for the agricultural sector through 2030, including investments, energy independence, processing, and exports of high-value products.
