This season, the main buyer was Egypt, where Russia shipped 1.2 million tons of wheat. 660 thousand tons of grain were exported to Turkey, 380 thousand tons to Israel, 350 thousand tons to Kenya, and 320 thousand tons to Saudi Arabia.
The total grain exports since the beginning of the 2025/26 MY are 7 million tons. In the last season (2024/25 MY), Russia exported 53 million tons of grain, of which 44 million tons of wheat.
The increase in Russian exports is due to the harvest from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. For example, in Luhansk region this year, Russia plans to harvest 1 million tons of wheat and export part of the grain.
