Russia distributed grain export quota for 2022/23 MY
The Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation distributed a quota for grain exports among 203 companies. This follows from the order of the department, posted on the telegram channel of the Union of Grain Exporters.
According to an official document, the specified quota, which will come into effect on February 15, was distributed according to the historical principle. According to this methodology, the largest volumes were allocated to such companies as Rif Trade House (4.909 mln tonnes), Grain Gates LLC (3.242 mln tonnes) and Aston (2.774 mln tonnes). OZK Trading, a subsidiary of United Grain Company, received the right to export 1.1 mln tonnes of grain.
Cargill received the right to export 958 thousand tons of grain, Louis Dreyfus Vostok will be able to export 587 thousand tons of grain. “APK AST Company M” received a quota of 850 thousand tons of grain, “Azov Grain Terminal” – 413.2 thousand tons, agricultural holding “Steppe” – 513 thousand tons.
As reported, the quota is 25.5 million tons, of which 0.5 million tons are intended for the regions of the Far East. The quota will be valid until June 30, 2023 inclusive.
