Russia adjusting the mechanism of rail transportation subsidies for agricultural products taking into account current needs

To meet the grain needs of the regions, as well as to secure the markets for oilseeds and oilseed products, the mechanism of subsidizing agricultural products transportation by rail (in wagons and containers) in Russia is being expanded. It provides for compensation for losses arising from reduced freight rates set for transporting agricultural products, UkrAgroConsult reports.
The range of subsidized transport destinations was adjusted taking into account this season’s needs, and rapeseed was added to the list of agricultural products.
