Roshen opens first branded store in the EU
Ukrainian confectionery company Roshen has opened its first branded store in the European Union. The first store has started operating in Romania, the Pryamy TV channel reported on Saturday, November 8.
The store was opened in the center of Bucharest, Romania. The store became the first Roshen representative office in the EU countries.
According to the marketing director of the Romanian branch of Roshen, Iolena Purinaru, the store focused on the atmosphere and visual environment. In particular, we are talking about interactive display cases created by designers and artists from Ukraine. Among the attractions is a mirror with elements of artificial intelligence, which allows you to take a photo in a new way.
The two-story Roshen store in Bucharest presented the full range of products available in Ukraine. In the future, the company wants to expand its network of stores in large cities in Romania.
As you know, Roshen is the largest manufacturer of sweets in Ukraine. The confectionery corporation includes four factories in Vinnytsia, Kyiv and Kremenchuk, as well as the Vinnytsia Dairy Plant, the Boryspil Biscuit Complex.
Abroad, Roshen manufactured products at the Klaipeda Confectionery Factory in Lithuania and the Bonbonetti Choco factory in Hungary. As a reminder, at the end of 2024, Roshen stopped production at Bonbonetti Choco due to unprofitability. In addition, Roshen had a factory in Lipetsk, Russia, but stopped its operation in 2017.
