Export and transportation to ports
According to preliminary data, November grain and product exports by rail totaled an all-time record of 1.14 M mt. The interest in exporting by land renewed in November due to uncertainty about the grain corridor extension. The largest amount of grain (242 K mt) was transported through the Izov railway station located on the Polish border. In addition, high volumes (over 100 K mt) went through Batiovo, Chop and Yahodyn.
The rush for exporting agricultural goods by rail caused a larger build-up of grain carriers heading for border crossings (+68% over the month). Improvement of the situation: the average daily delivery of grain-carrying railcars to EU countries increased by 111 ones, from 530 railcars per day in October to 641 railcars in November (up 21%).
