Rains slow Argentina corn harvest
Experts note a slowdown in the harvesting campaign due to excessive rains, as well as because farmers are prioritizing soybean harvesting.
According to the monitoring of the Buenos Aires Grain Exchange, as of April 30, corn harvesting in Argentina was completed on 31.3% of the planned area (+9.3% over the week).

It is also reported that at the end of April, the share of grain crops in poor and very poor condition is 20% compared to 40% a year earlier, in satisfactory condition – 42 (42)%, in good and excellent condition – 38 (18)%.
The corn harvest forecast in Argentina remains at 49 million tons.
