Rainfall in the US, Canada, Europe and western Ukraine will support the development of late crops, but will delay the harvest of the early group

Favorable weather conditions persist in the US “corn belt” with good periodic rainfall, which continues to improve crop prospects for spring wheat, corn and soybeans.
Next week, rising temperatures and occasional showers are forecast for the Midwest and Plains of the US, which will continue to pressure prices for the new crop.
The Canadian Prairies have seen intermittent rainfall this week, improving the condition of canola and spring wheat crops, but parts of Manitoba remain without the necessary rainfall. Almost daily showers and thunderstorms are forecast for next week, which should help canola and wheat fill and improve the condition of corn and soybean crops.
Scattered showers will continue in Central and Eastern Europe until next week, which will be beneficial for the development of late crops, but may impair the quality of wheat and malting barley and delay the harvest of winter crops.
A cyclone moving from Europe will bring intermittent rain to western, central and northern regions of Ukraine next week, but precipitation will not reach southern and eastern Ukraine, where sunflower crops continue to suffer from drought.
Significant soil waterlogging in western Ukraine will lead to delayed harvesting of winter crops, possible loss of part of the crop (especially rapeseed), and reduced quality of wheat and malting barley due to fungal development, but will continue to improve the condition of late crop crops.
In the Black Sea region of the Russian Federation, very hot and dry weather of 33-36 ° C has set in, which accelerates the harvesting of winter crops and reduces the yield potential of late crops and sunflower. The same dry and hot weather is forecast for next week, with only thunderstorms in some regions, which will lower temperatures at the end of the week.
Moderate to heavy rainfall has been falling across Australia earlier this week, with more expected to occur over the next week. The rains will help ease the drought conditions across much of the country’s winter wheat and canola crops ahead of the start of the growing season.
Central China has seen heavy rains this week, easing drought conditions and improving corn and soybean crops, but less rain is forecast next week, allowing the wheat harvest to be completed.
