Powerful grain terminal is planned to be built in a key UAE port
AD Ports Group, the UAE’s leading port and logistics operator, has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Al Ain Mills. As part of the cooperation, the companies will create a modern grain storage and processing facility at Khalifa Port, AD Ports Group’s press service reports. The new facility will occupy an area of 50,000 m² and will be able to store about 300,000 tons of grain. Construction is expected to be completed in two and a half years.
The project will contribute to the development of Khalifa Port, expanding its capabilities and strengthening its position as a key trade center in the region. The terminal’s high throughput capacity and convenient location will make the port an important link in the supply chain of grain products in the Middle East.
Under the terms of the agreement, the site for the terminal has been granted a 50-year lease. This will provide Al Ain Mills, the region’s leading flour producer and importer, with direct access to deep-water berths and modern port facilities, which will significantly improve the efficiency of its logistics operations.
