Polish protesters unblock the Rava-Ruska – Hrebenne border crossing point
Polish farmers have stopped their protest in front of the Hrebenne-Rava-Ruska checkpoint. All checkpoints on the border with Poland are currently operating normally. This was reported by the spokesman for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, Colonel Andriy Demchenko.
“In fact, heavy traffic of trucks in both directions started at 1 am. Currently, all checkpoints on the border with Poland are operating normally,” said Demchenko.
He added that over the past day, as well as before, there was a zero rate of border crossing by trucks in the direction of Poland at this checkpoint. About 60 trucks crossed into Ukraine.
Protesters blocked truck traffic at the Rava-Ruska-Hrebenne checkpoint on June 4. Representatives of local farmers demanded to reduce the import of grain crops to Poland from Ukraine.
