Poland closes the only road border crossing for cargo transportation from Belarus

Poland has closed the only border crossing available for road freight transportation on the Polish-Belarusian border.
This was reported by Polish customs officials on Wednesday.
“Since 03:00 on July 10, the Polish side has not been accepting trucks coming from Belarus through the Kozlovichi checkpoint (“Kukuryki” on the Polish side – ed.),” the statement said.
Over the past day, the queue for entry to the EU through this checkpoint from Belarus has increased from zero to 600 trucks.
Belarusian customs officials noted that vehicles are still moving in the direction of Belarus through this checkpoint, but much slower than usual.
Earlier, Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski said that the country is considering closing all checkpoints on the border with Belarus.
Kukuryki was the only Polish checkpoint on the border with Belarus where trucks were allowed to pass.
