Over 5 mln tons of Ukrainian corn were exported
The volume of grain and leguminous crops exports from Ukraine in the MY 2025/26 as of December 22 amounted to 14.26 million tons, which is 7 million tons, or 33% less than the previous season.
This is evidenced by data from the State Customs Service.
Thus, 7.6 million tons of wheat were exported. This is 1.96 million tons, or 20% less than last year’s volumes.
Barley supplies to foreign markets amounted to over 1.2 million tons. The decrease compared to the same date last season is 38%.
Rye was exported in the amount of 0.2 thousand tons, which is ten times less than last year’s 10.8 thousand tons.
Corn was exported in the amount of 5.1 million tons, which is 1.8 times less than last season’s shipments.
Flour exports from Ukraine amounted to 32.2 thousand tons, which is 13% less than last year’s figure.
For reference: in the MY 2024/25, exports of grain and leguminous crops amounted to 40.6 million tons: wheat – 15.7 million tons; barley – 2.3 million tons; rye – 10.8 thousand tons; corn – 22 million tons; flour – 71.1 thousand tons.
