Over 2 million tons of new crop harvested in Ukraine

Early grain and pulses are being harvested in 22 regions of Ukraine. The harvest was carried out on an area of 643.8 thou hectares with a yield of 33.6 c/ha, and more than 2 mln 160 thou tons of new crop grain was harvested, including
- barley was harvested on 352.4 thou hectares (yield – 38.4 c/ha), 1352 thou tons were harvested
- wheat was harvested on 211.8 thousand hectares (yield -33.7 c/ha), harvested 714.6 thousand tons;
- 44.99 thou hectares of peas were harvested (yield – 20.8 c/ha), 93.7 thou tons were harvested.
The largest amount of grain was harvested and threshed in Odesa region. They have harvested 242 thou hectares and threshed 746 thou tons.
In addition, 12 regions have started harvesting winter rape, which was harvested on 158 thou hectares, yielding 329.5 thou tons of seeds at 20.8 c/ha.
