Mykola Solsky discussed with his Moldovan colleague the transit of Ukrainian agricultural products at new tariffs
Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Mykola Solsky held another online meeting with Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry of the Republic of Moldova Volodymyr Bol.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine and the Ukrainian and Moldovan Railways.
The ministers discussed the current state of transportation of Ukrainian agricultural products by rail through Moldova in the direction of the ports of Reni, Giurgiulesti and Galati after the launch of the new tariff plan, as well as possible discounts for some other types of agricultural products.
The parties agreed to coordinate the situation and, if necessary, make adjustments.

Reference. The Moldavian Railway agreed to provide a discount of 27% to the existing tariffs for the transit transportation of grain and 39% for sunflower oil through the territory of the Republic of Moldova in the direction of the ports of Reni, Giurgiulesti and Galati. The new tariff conditions came into force on July 15, 2023.
