More than 28.6 mln tons of Ukrainian grain were exported

As of February 26, in the MY 2024/25, Ukraine exported 28 million 651 thousand tons of grain and leguminous crops, which is 72 thousand tons or 0.2% more than last year. This was reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Wheat exports amounted to 11 million 825 thousand tons, which is 559 thousand tons or 4.9% more than last year.
Ukrainian farmers also exported 2 million 118 thousand tons of barley and 10.8 thousand tons of rye.
Ukrainian corn exports amounted to 14 million 268 thousand tons, which is 1 million 170 thousand tons or 8.2% less than last year.
In addition, 47.8 thousand tons of flour (or 63.7 thousand tons in terms of grain) were sent abroad, which is 25.2 thousand tons or 1.52 times less than last year.
Further development of the grain sector in the Black Sea and Danube region will be discussed at the 23 International Conference BLACK SEA GRAIN.KYIV on April 24 in Kyiv.
