More than 20 mln tons of grain have been processed in Ukrainian seaports since the beginning of the year

In January-June 2025, approximately 40 million tons of cargo were processed in the seaports of Ukraine. This was stated by the Deputy Minister of Community and Territorial Development Andriy Kashuba.
According to operational information, in January-June 2025, almost 40 million tons of cargo were processed in the seaports, of which 20.3 million tons were grain, 9.3 million tons were ores, and 2.1 million tons were ferrous metals.
“We are observing a trend towards a decrease in exports, which is primarily due to the reduction in the country’s sown areas as a result of hostilities and their temporary occupation by the enemy. This is precisely what determines the overall impact on the performance of seaports,” Andriy Kashuba emphasized.
