Leading regions in rapeseed yield in Ukraine
Average yield of winter rapeseed in Ukraine for the period 2019-2021 varied from 1.99 to 2.11 t / ha. The only region that did not leave the top three during the period was Ternopil, where the average yield ranged from 2.96 to 3.84 t / ha.
According to the results of the current season, Khmelnytsky and Chernihiv regions (3.63 and 3.44 t / ha) are also among the top three regions in terms of winter rapeseed yield.
The crop yield of over 3 t / ha in 2021 was also observed in 6 oblasts – Vinnytsia, Lviv, Volyn, Cherkasy, Poltava and Kyiv regions. In the previous 2020, such yields were provided only by Chernihiv region, in 2019 – Khmelnytsky, Vinnytsia, Ternopil and Sumy with indicators from 3.04 to 3.22 t / ha.
