Kazakhstan to start supplying grain to Africa

Kazakhstan intends to increase, as well as expand export supplies of its grain. In addition to traditional markets, grain growers in the new season intend to actively work with China and Iran. New measures are being introduced in trade with these countries. Also Kazakhstan plans to start exporting grain to Africa. According to the press service of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs, numerous negotiations and agreements will allow to increase the volume of grain supplies to China, Iran and other countries. According to information, will expand the geography of shipments to the European Union. Also Kazakhstan will enter a new direction – Africa. Recall, last season grain growers in Russia, on the background of a large harvest, also began to enter this market.

Business said that the interest in Kazakh grain in many countries of the world is quite high, there is demand. The total volume of grain, which can be exported in the new season, was also named. It makes up, taking into account transient residues, – 10 million tons. KTZ said that they will work this season without overlaps, the entire volume will be immediately exported from the country as soon as possible.

As for the price, Atameken reported that soft wheat is expected to be traded at 80-85 thousand tenge per ton, excluding VAT.
