Kazakhstan to resume supplies of feed grain to Iran
Prodkorporatsiya held talks with representatives of Iranian company FREEDOM SKY TRADING FZCO – the main supplier of agricultural products in Iran. As a result, the parties agreed on the supply of Kazakhstani feed grain to Iran, the press service of Prodkorporatsiya reported.
“During the meeting agreements were reached on resumption of cooperation in the field of supply of Kazakhstani barley, feed wheat and corn to Iran both by water transport and by land,” the company informed.
Iran is a traditional market for Kazakhstani grain, both wheat and barley.
Earlier, the EAEU countries concluded a free trade agreement with Iran. This will enable Kazakhstan to supply this country without duty up to 700 thousand tons of wheat and 690 thousand tons of barley.
