Kazakhstan to increase linseed oil exports to Japan
Kazakhstan is set to expand shipments of linseed oil to the Japanese market under a new export agreement signed during the official visit of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to Japan. The document was concluded between Kazakhstan’s Dinastia Agro and Japan’s Fairbay Inc. (Jateco Group). The companies have been cooperating for four years, and the new agreement provides for an increase in export volumes to 3,000 tonnes.
QazTrade notes that this project reflects a growing trend of small and medium-sized Kazakh businesses entering export markets with value-added products. Linseed oil from Kazakhstan is valued in Japan for its high quality and natural characteristics, while Dinastia Agro’s participation in the “Export Acceleration – 2025” program is expected to support further expansion in the Japanese market.
Dinastia Agro is a small enterprise based in the North Kazakhstan region, specializing in linseed cultivation and processing. Its product range includes linseed oil, linseed meal, and seeds, all produced under strict quality control with full traceability. Expanding exports of processed products supports the diversification of Kazakhstan’s agricultural exports: from January to October 2025, the country’s agri-food exports rose by 37.9% year on year to $5.55 billion.
