Kazakhstan. Sunflower oil exports down 19% y-o-y

Sunflower oil exports from Kazakhstan in September-December 2021/22 totaled 27.9 KMT (-19% y-o-y).
Export potential in MY 2021/22 is 145 KMT (+55% y-o-y, provided the 110 KMT sunflower oil export quota is fully used, the quota period may be shortened until June 1, 2022 and the quota size may be increased to 114 KMT), UkrAgroConsult reports.
The export dynamics in key destination markets: Tajikistan (+162%), China (-98%), Afghanistan (-84%) and Uzbekistan (-15%).
