Kazakhstan reduced imports of Russian grain by a third
In 2024, Kazakhstan imported 1.933 million tons of Russian grain worth $423.6 million. Compared to last year, grain imports in physical terms decreased by 32%.
Imports of wheat for the period under review amounted to 1.648 million tons, barley – 0.199 million tons, rye – 0.051 million tons.
In 2023, Kazakhstan imported 2.849 million tons of grain from rf worth $453.4 million, including wheat – 2.276 million tons, barley – 0.513 million tons, rye – 0.013 million tons.
