Kazakhstan increased imports of Russian wheat in December
According to the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan, in December 2023, the country imported 277.4 thousand tons of Russian wheat, which is 33% more than in November. The volume of wheat imports in value terms rose to $51.0 million, up 42% from November.
Russian barley imports in December amounted to 15.6 thousand tons, rye – 1.4 thousand tons, rice – 1.4 thousand tons.
