Kazakhstan exported 7.5 mln tons of grain
According to the National Company Kazakhstan Temir Zholy, from September 2024 to April 27, 2025, the volume of grain exports of the new harvest amounted to 7.5 million tons, which is 56% more than for the same period of the 2023/2024 agricultural year. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
According to the department, there is a stable increase in the supply of Kazakh grain to the countries of Central Asia and the Middle East.
“Exports to Uzbekistan increased by 29.7% – from 2 million tons to 2.7 million tons, to Tajikistan – by 50%, from 718 thousand tons to 1076 thousand tons, to Afghanistan – by 33.8%, from 201 thousand tons to 269 thousand tons, to Kyrgyzstan – two times, from 88 thousand tons to 178 thousand tons,” the Ministry of Agriculture reported.
The volume of exports to Iran increased 16 times – from 54 thousand tons to 871 thousand tons, to Azerbaijan – 111 times, from 5 thousand tons to 557 thousand tons.
