Kazakhstan exported 1.8 mln tons of grain of new harvest

According to Kazakhstan Railways, transportation of new crop in September-October amounted to more than 2.2 million tons, of which 1.8 million tons were exported. This figure is 30% higher than in the same period last year, reports the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan.
The ministry notes that transportation to Russia goes without restrictions. Exports for 2 months in Russia amounted to 23.4 thousand tons; transit through Russia – 113 thousand tons.
Shipments through the port of Aktau in the direction of Iran for 2 months exceeded 250 thousand tons.
In the traditional markets of Central Asia, transportation of new crop increased by more than 30% compared to grain transportation for the same period last year and exceeded the mark of 1 million tons.
