The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Jordan canceled a tender for the purchase of 120,000 tons of milling wheat, which was scheduled for Tuesday, March 10, according to anonymous traders. The reasons for the cancellation were not disclosed, but the country immediately announced a new international tender for the same volume of wheat — 120,000 tons.

The deadline for submitting bids under the new tender is set for March 17. Deliveries of the purchased wheat are planned for June–July 2026, giving suppliers sufficient time to prepare shipments within the scheduled timeframe.
