Jordan purchases 50 thsd tons of barley in tender
Jordan continues active grain procurement, purchasing around 50,000 tons of feed barley in an international tender on March 18. According to traders, the supplier was Ameropa, with the deal priced at about $260 per ton on a C&F basis. Shipment is scheduled for the first half of July.
At the same time, Jordan has issued a new tender to buy up to 120,000 tons of feed barley, with a submission deadline of March 25. Shipments are expected in parcels during July–August, underscoring the country’s steady demand for imported grain to support its livestock sector.
