Jordan purchased 60 thsd tons of wheat
On October 29, the Jordanian Ministry of Industry and Trade held a tender for the purchase of 120 thousand tons of flour-milling wheat of random origin with shipment in January-February 2025, reports Zerno On-line with reference to European traders.
The company purchased 60 thousand tons of wheat from Ameropa at $269 per ton C&F FO Aqaba with shipment in January.
The following companies also participated in the tender:
- CHS, which offered wheat at $275.2 per ton
- Al Dahra – $ 276
- Viterra – $ 280
- Cereal Crop – $ 302
Next Tuesday, November 5, the ministry will hold tenders for the purchase of milling wheat and feed barley with shipment in January-February 2025.
