Jordan purchased 60 thsd tons of milling wheat at a tender
On September 23, the Jordanian Ministry of Industry and Trade held a tender for 120,000 tons of milling wheat of any origin, according to the Grain On-Line news agency, citing European traders.
60,000 tons of milling wheat were contracted at $266 per ton on a C&F basis from Al Dahra, with shipment scheduled for November 1-15.
Other companies had higher prices: Cargill at $269.90 and Bunge at $277.
The next tender for 120,000 tons of milling wheat of any origin, with shipment scheduled for December, will be held on September 30.
Today, September 24, the Jordanian Ministry of Industry and Trade will also hold a tender for 120,000 tons of feed barley of any origin.
