Jordan purchased 60 thsd tons of barley

On December 18, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Jordan held a tender for the purchase of feed barley of random origin. This was reported by Zerno On-line agency with reference to European traders.
60 thsd tons of barley was purchased at $252 per ton on the basis of C&F Aqaba with delivery on January 15-31, 2025. Other bidders offered barley at $254-265 per ton.
On December 17, Jordan’s Ministry of Industry and Trade canceled a tender for the purchase of 120,000 tons of random-origin flour wheat.
