Jordan purchased 60 thousand tons of barley
On December 11, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Jordan held a tender for the purchase of feed barley of random origin. This was reported by Zerno On-line agency with reference to European traders.
The company purchased 60 thousand tons of barley from Viterra at $249.99 per ton on C&F Aqaba basis with delivery on January 15-31, 2025.
The following companies also participated in the tender:
- Dreyfus, which offered barley at $252 per tonne
- Olam – $253.94
- Bunge – $256
- Ameropa – $262.50
- Al Dahra – $264
On December 10, Jordan’s Ministry of Industry and Trade canceled a tender for the purchase of 120,000 tons of random flour wheat.
