Jordan canceled a tender for wheat purchase

On January 9, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Jordan canceled a tender for the purchase of 120 thousand tons of milling wheat of random origin. This was reported by Zerno On-Line agency with reference to European traders. The reason for the cancelation, presumably, was high prices.
Seven companies participated in the tender: CHS, Cargill, Viterra, Cerealcom, Nestwise, Ameropa and MC Food.
The next tender for the purchase of 120 thousand tons of flour-milling wheat of random origin will be held on January 17.
