Iran to increase wheat production in 2024

Experts expect Iran to produce 14.5 million metric tons of wheat in the current agricultural season, 500,000 tons more than the previous season. IRNA reported.
The world is projected to harvest 798 million tons of wheat this year, 11 million tons more than the 2023 level.
Analysts point out that Iran will become the 11th largest producer of this type of grain in the world in 2024. The first place will be taken by China, the third by India.
