Iran becoming a regular buyer of Kazakh wheat

September wheat exports from Kazakhstan totaled 428 KMT (+10% from August, -17% from September 2020/21, +37% from the five-year average), UkrAgroConsult reports.
As before, the main importer is Uzbekistan, though deliveries to this destination fell by 48% from September 2020.
Apart from Uzbekistan, the following importers also reduced purchases from the same time last year: Tajikistan (-9%), Afghanistan (-67%), China (-79%).
The following countries boosted demand compared to last season: Turkmenistan (45 times), the EU (tenfold).
Iran, which made no wheat purchase from Kazakhstan in September 2020, has already bought 79 KMT this season.
