Indonesia to cut palm oil exports in 2024

Indonesia will export 23.9 million tons of palm oil in 2024, 8.9% less than in 2023, Zerno On-line reported, citing data from Intertek Testing Services (ITS).
Oil shipments to China, a key market for Indonesian exporters, fell 28.1% to 3.86 million tons.
Indonesia is the world’s largest producer and exporter of palm oil. The country produces more than 42 million tons of palm oil annually. Indonesia accounts for more than half of the world exports of this commodity.
