India reduced the maximum amount of wheat allowed for storage

India has reduced the maximum volume of wheat allowed for storage. Until the end of March, traders and wholesalers will be able to store up to 250 tons instead of the 1,000 tons allowed earlier. The restriction has been imposed to stabilize domestic prices.
Imports of the crop into the country are restricted due to barrier import duties. The current import duty is 40%.
Further development of the grain sector in the Black Sea and Danube region will be discussed at the 23 International Conference BLACK SEA GRAIN.KYIV on April 24 in Kyiv.
