In the third decade of June, agrometeorological conditions in most of Ukraine, with the exception of the southeastern regions, were satisfactory for the vegetation of late crops, maturation and the beginning of harvesting of early grains and legumes, reports the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.

“In most areas, precipitation maintained soil moisture at a sufficient level, but the increase in heat to 30-35°C in early July had a negative impact on crops, especially in the eastern regions, where the amount of rain was less. Forecasted for next week, a new wave of heat will continue to have a negative impact on soybeans and corn.

During the week, a number of fronts are expected to bring unwanted precipitation to France and Germany, and the necessary moisture to the arid regions of the eastern countries. In the south and east of Europe, the heat is having a negative impact on spring crops.

In the corn belt of the United States, the weather with intermittent showers and moderate temperatures contributes to the development of crops, and next week the temperatures will rise, which will accelerate the development of plants. In the Central and Southern Plains of the United States, the front will bring heavy rains and cold snaps, which will have a positive impact on most crops.

In the prairies of Canada next week will continue heavy rains, but the cool weather slows the development of plants. At the end of the week, temperatures will rise slightly, which will accelerate the development of crops.

Brazil is accelerating the harvesting of second crop corn, and analysts are raising production forecasts due to good yields. Next week, the front will bring rains to the south and central regions, which will favorably affect the winter wheat crop.

In Argentina, the growing deficit of precipitation, and most of the winter wheat crops have low soil moisture. On the weekend of the northern regions will be raining, but the main areas of wheat production will remain without precipitation. In addition, wheat crops will be negatively affected by low temperatures with frost in the air.
