In the new season, Ukraine sent almost 3.5 million tons of corn abroad

From the beginning of the 2022/23 fiscal year (July 1, 2022), as of September 14, Ukraine exported 5.8 million tons of grain and leguminous crops. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine.
Export as of the reporting date is inferior to last year’s indicator of 10.9 million tons. At the same time, this year’s corn export is 60% ahead of last year’s indicator.
In terms of crops, the following were exported since the beginning of the season:
- wheat — 1.83 million tons (in 2021/22 MR — 6.4 million tons);
- barley — 525,000 tons (3 million tons);
- corn — 3.42 million tons (1.39 million tons);
- rye — 1.3 thousand tons (18.5 thousand tons).
